KFC Tanzania launched a powerful CSR initiative — donating braille paper and braille typewriters to the deaf and blind unit of Uhuru Mchanganyiko Primary School in Kariakoo. LAS Consultancy managed the entire campaign from strategy to execution.
This project marked KFC's commitment to long-term support for special needs education in Tanzania. Beyond the initial donation, KFC aimed to launch a sustained CSR project called Add Hope, where customers could contribute a small amount with their food purchase to support community projects. Our role encompassed CSR strategy, school identification, event and donation management, supplier coordination, media invitation and management, press release writing and distribution, media monitoring and reporting, and securing feature article interviews.
